Trim the Chenille Layers 4. Place the template over one stitched 4 stack, lining up the lines on the pattern with those you have stitched on the fabric. Don’t worry if they no longer match up perfectly. The lines on the quilt may have been distorted by your sewing through the layers. Using a ruler and rotary cutter, trim along the pattern edges.
