TIP During construction, it is often necessary to mark the front of a floorquilt for positioning a design or for keeping elements in line or evenly spaced. My favorite method is to put a piece of painter’s masking tape at the required location and mark the tape, or use a strip of tape to provide a straight line. Remove the tape after it has served its purpose.
